Nishmi (Brazil, 1994) lives and works in Berlin. Exploring themes of memory, gender, and destruction, their work examines cultural dynamics and impermanence. They often create video and sound installations, playing with astronomical and microscopic scales of size and time. Previous exhibitions include Haus Wien (Vienna, Austria), Ecrã Festival (Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and Pembe Hayat KuirFest (Pera Museum, Turkey).
