Point of No Return (2024)

The work investigates the temporality of materials through their combustion, replacing conventional time units with the burn duration of a straw sample. The series interlaces still frames of each object’s burning process with its name and the total time required for its complete transformation into a non-combustible state, measured according to the artist’s proposed temporal scale.
